What has everyone been reading this summer? Teens @ the library have been busy reading! Here’s what this weeks winners of the Summer Reading prize are perusing and what they think about it!
Jessica S. read Just Kidding by Annie Bryant. She wrote, “I would recommend this book to a friend because it is about girls who stand up for themselves when they are made fun of. Very Inspiring!” Ms. Sara would like to add that this is a great title if you have every experienced bullying.
Smith read Heist Society by Ally Carter and wrote about it, “I would recommend this book to a friend because it has just the right amount of intrigue and humor that makes a book enjoyable.”
Renee J. read Every New Day by Lauren Brooke. Renee thought she “would recommend this book to a friend because I thought the way Huten taught Amy to cure Mercury was original.”
Sabine H. thought Light on Snow by Anita Shreve was a good read because “it is sad and happy at the same time!”
So far, everyone has sent us books they LOVE, what about books you hate? Anyone want to talk about a book they didn’t like and why? Email Ms. Sara at firstname.lastname@example.org and I will publish your review (no bad language-please!)
